Wakefield Environmental Developments Ltd

Our Trading Company, Wakefield Environmental Developments Ltd (WEDL), was created to allow us to operate outside the Wakefield District and to trade on a commercial basis. It improves service delivery to local authorities, communities and businesses, whilst also providing training, work experience and employment opportunities in the area.

WEDL has been successful in securing public and private landscaping and maintenance contracts.

Community Pride
Our Contracts Team dedicated to delivering environmental improvement projects, landscaping and grounds maintenance services across the District whilst providing training, work experience and employment opportunities in the area.

Landfill Community Funding
The British Energy EPAC scheme funds local community projects from Landfill Tax monies.
