Junior Homebuilder

The Motiv8 projects have been so successful in engaging young people that a follow on project is being piloted. Junior Homebuilder will provide participants on the Motiv8 scheme who are interested in careers in construction with the opportunity to receive accredited training and essential work experience.

Drawing on the skills and experience of the Employment, Education and Youth teams this project is expected to provide progression routes and address the construction skills shortage in the Wakefield district.
