Groundwork Wakefield

Portobello Community Centre opening Groundwork is a federation of local Trusts in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Groundwork’s projects aim to bring benefits for People, Places and Prosperity. Groundwork uses environmental action as a vehicle for community regeneration and works to ensure that regeneration schemes actively promote sustainable development.

Groundwork Wakefield works with Trusts across the region, supported by the Groundwork Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Office.

We deliver programmes embracing six themes:
